The Bard Knows

You wonder at times
The voices we hear
The stories we see
The lies we live
Of hopes unborn

Yet the Bard knows
Those questions unseen;
Of Sepulcher tales
and Shrouds of gloom; woven
to our souls repent

They write the tales
On a Poet’s lyre
Parchment glowing
In Odin’s eyes
As Dragons roar
Racing on life’s behest

Yet a dreamer knows
What tales to tell
What tales can be
What truth we find
Of tales untold
Within a Bard’s inquest
